This construction technique goes by the name of SCIPS (Structural Concrete Insulated Panel System). The panels are made using expanded polystyrene with a galvanized wire mesh on both sides. They are assembled on a traditional concrete footing with additional layers of wire mesh reinforcement at corners, joints, headers.

A primary tool for the project is this high strength mortar pump. Like a Jaguar, if it breaks down, which it did, you better have another one nearby or your crew will standing still.
